John B White (Rietvallei) 2006 was briefly unavailable, but is going strong once more. At R26.00 a bottle, this Sauvignon Blanc / Colombar blend is an absolute winner.

Waterford’s Pecan Stream Rose-Mary 2006 is also pretty much done for now.

Black Oystercatcher White Pearl is a stunner! It is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon showing typical green pepper/grassy/dusty notes. The palate is layered and weighty with a lingering, limey finish.

South Hill Sauvignon Blanc is one of the newer additions to the Elgin line-up. It is subtle and appealing with tropical notes and hints of figs and gooseberries. The palate is not acidic, but rather soft and creamy.
